Carol Egans playfulness is given full reign in the childs bedroom. On one wall is a mock castle in bright pink, with a real balcony and green mansard roof. On the floor is a lapis blue rug with pink meandering lines. This is a room to dream in, in a loft already filled with dreams of a more serious sort. Carol Egan, everywhere, balances works of art - fine and decorative - with the art of play.
Designed by Carol Egan Interiors, the photograph shows a childs bedroom with Biss daybed by Pinuccio Borgonovo for Flou, roller skate doorstop by Areaware and custom carpet based on Émile Jacques Ruhlmann Prelle design.
