Three Berndt Friberg vases rest on a twisted walnut shelf custom-designed by Carol Egan. The shelf is now part of Carol Egan s furniture line, sold exclusively at Maison Gerad in New York. The focus of the dining area is the Baer table by Khouri Guzman Bunce (KGB) surrounded by twelve leather-upholstered beech dining chairs by Finn Juhl from the 1950s. Interior design by Carol Egan.

Designed by Carol Egan Interiors, the open-plan living and dining area is a perfect place for entertaining, with sweeping views of Central Park. Two Vladimir Kagan sofas flank a chrome coffee table designed by Nada Debs. The custom-colored area rug is from Vanderhund in New York. Matilde Alessandras "I d Rather Be Blue" hangs above a FinnJuhl tak beech from 1952. The walnut and bronze bar area is completed by three leather and wood stools by Erik Buch. Friberg cermaics and a silver art deco vasae adorn two floating shelves.

One study is filled with Danish furnishings, including a rosewood desk by Kai Kristiansen and a teak desk organizer by Pedersen and Hansen, both from the 1960s, as well as contemporary archairs from Roman Thomas and bronze standing lamps by Cedric Hartman. For the other study, Carol Egan selected furnishings that would blend nicely with the owners craft collections, including Sebastian Errazuriz Piano Wall Shelf Unit from Cristina Grajales Gallery in New York for the owners Japanese basket collection. Berndt Friberg ceramics are nested in a corner of the 1950s teak desk design by Nanna Ditzel for Soren Willadsen. In the kitchen, PK 15 chairs by Poul Kjaerholm surround a round marble-topped table. Carol Egan removed black marble in the powder room and replaced it with a white Corian framework enclosing the sink and shelves.
