In the master suite of this fifth avenue apartment which overlooks Central Park, Carol Egan designed the bedside tables in walnut with table lamps by Flos. The bed is a custom design with headboard and footboard upholstered in natural linen fabric. The carpet is wall to wall installation of a hand-woven wool cut pile.
This image shows a bathroom designed by Carol Egan with walls and floors made of chisel cut Thassos marble. The vanity sink is fabricated from slab Thasos marble and hand carved. Plumbing fixtures and fittings are the .25 range in polished nickel finish from Waterworks. A Vintage Nickle framed mid-century mirror hangs above the sink. The room is lit with a 1950s antique glass ceiling fixture from Valerie Goodman Galerie and Opus wall lights from Waterworks.
