This image is a view up the stairway to the second-floor hallway in the Bridgehampton home designed by Studio Carol Egan. A Scripted pendant chandelier by Alison Berger hangs from the ceiling in blackened Bronze and engraved glass pendants that are contrasted against the white shaker panels of the 2nd Floor stair hallway. There is a custom woven runner carpet on the stairway - Deep blue basket weave by Elizabeth Eakins. You can see a nook at the top of the stair with built in banquettes for playing chess and backgammon.
This image shows a detail of the nook at the top of the stairs designed by Carol Egan. The ceiling is clad in painted V grove board with an indigo blue painted stripe. A wall light cylinder sconce by Comerford Collection lights the nook. There is an area rug in deep blue by Elizabeth Eakins. Build in banquettes share a large stone coffee table with Bonnet poufs by Casalis around the Jumbo coffee table by Gae Aulenti.
