GREENWICH RESIDENCE

Shown here , the foyer of a Greenwich residence designed by Carol Egan, the Front door is a painted herringboned pattern in gloss ebony finish with custom hardware by Nanz in a polished Nickel finish.  The Foyer floor is large slabs of Belgian Blue Stone where a metal and upholstered bench by Lucca & Co is upholstered in hand-woven Ottoman Stripe/Broken Ikat fabric by Sam Kasten.  A Vintage Itlaian Lantern is hung from the ceiling in blacked metal and opaline glass and there are tailored linen curtains framing the window.  Artwork by Marilyn Minter hangs in the Foyer.
Designed by Carol Egan, this image captures the staircase and seating area in the living room.  The Custom Scanivian styled settee flanks a 19th Century Bankers Table with inset leather panels.  There are a pair of armchairs by Heige Vastegaard Jensen at each end of the long bankers table.  Carved wooden oak side chairs by Marolles from the 1950s surround the table.  The Five arm bronze and onyx chandelier is from Achille Salvagni hangs above and a frame photograph from Mapplethorpes flower series hangs low on the plaster wall above the settee.
This image shows a view of the great room designed by Carol Egan looking into the living room.  The Sal 05 (Edition of 20) Spider chandelier by Achille Salvagni lights the room.  Underneath is an antique Money table (A L Administration Du Pret Gratuit) surrounded by "Marolles" chair by Jean Touret and armchairs by Heige Vastegaard Jensen.  A Limestone fireplace anchors the oppostite end of the room.  A graphic white and bown color blaocked area rug is bordered by a antique Oak Floor.

This image shows the knotty chestnut and soapstone kitchen cbinets with a pait of center Islands in a painted finish with Statuary Marble counter tops.  The kitchen A-M stoolwalnut barstools and Rover Factory industrial hanging pendant lights are by Ann-Morris Antiques. The range is by Wolf, and the ceiling is covered in reclaimed barn siding.  The cabinet Hardware is seen in a polished nickel finish   by Nanz Hardware.  Interior design by Carol Egan.
Designed by Carol Egan, the family rooms custom L shaped sofa is upholstered in a natural linen by Rogers & Goffigon.  The ebony wooden cocktail table designed by Charlotte Perriand and Afrido Rope stool by Chrstian Astuguevielle flank the sofa on a beautiful hand woven antural wool Sardinian rug by FJ Hakimian.  Opposite the sofa,  a lounge chair by Pierre Jeanneret in wood and caned finish.  A large vintage swedish ring light fixture fills the double height space.
This image shows a view of the keeping room with an oak-and-nickel Baer table by KGBL flanked by a custom settee upholstered in a racing car green Hunt leather and 1930s Alvar Aalto ebonized dining chairs flank the table.  This room designed by Carol Egan includes a vintage wall light by Stilnovo, a photogph by Hiroshi Sugimoto and walls painted in Donald Kaufman Colors Collection No. 51.
An image of the library in a Greenwich residence designed by Carol Egan.  The reclaimed barnwood ceiling is contrasted with painted millwork that encases the clients library.  There is a pale blue Nepalese silver carpet which compliments the putty color painted millwork.  The custom St. Thomas sofa in wool flannel smoke fabric by Holland & Sherry and Norwegian Rosewood lounge chair & ottoman surrounds a round walnut coffee table by Robsjohn Gibbins.  Table lamps by Luigi Caccia Dominioni.
This is an image of the upstairs sitting room designed by Carol Egan.  The Ciranda side table by Ricardo Fasanello sit between a custom daybed design by Studio Carol Egan and an “Easy Armchair” by Pierre Jeanneret.  In the center is a coffee table by Roger Capron with oak legs and a ceramic tiled top.  A 1967 B17 Longue bookshelf by Pierre Chapo in oak hangs above the daybed with a collection of Art coffeee table books on display.  A camel-colored area rug by Sam Kasten anchors the room.
Designed by Carol Egan, the upstairs sitting room consist of an Easy Armchair by Pierre Jeanneret, coffee table by Roger Capron, Ciranda side table by Ricardo Fasanello and Pot chair by Nana Ditzel.  The "Untitled, Bike on Sidewalk" large photograph by William Eggleston hangs above a custom cabinet by Studio Carol Egan with a Model 265 wall light by Paolo Rizzatto.
Shown here is a detail photograph of a custom silk velvet upholstered bed in the master bedroom of this Greenwich residence designed by Carol Egan.  The room is painted a soft Dior gray and the silk velvet headboard is a deeper shade of grey.  Bedside tables are by BBDW in a lacquered and pine wood finish with contrasting blacked bronze hardware. Swedish Orrefor glass bedside table lamps are seen with custom white linen shades.

The room is lit by a 1970s ceiling light by Angelo Brotto for Esperia.  The rug is by Mitchell Denberg and the walls are painted in pavillion gray by Farrow & Ball.

A custom chaise with exposed wood & nickel sabots by Doreen Interiors in Burnished Canvas Aspie Ollie rug by Mitchell Denburg sits right by the window together with a vintage marble top & nickel abase coffee table, a 1940s French high back lounge chair and a glass standing lamp RD1990 by Carl Fagerlund Orrefors illuminates the area.
Designed by Carol Egan, the master bathroom floors, and bathtub apron are tiled white Thassos mosaic with fittings by Waterworks.  Adjacent to the bathtub is a Hans Wegner stool upholstered in grey wool and small childs stool by Nanna Ditzel holds a vase of Fresh cut branches from the garden.  1970s Luigi Caccia pendant light hangs from the ceiling and the walls are sheathed in Venetian plaster.  The bathtub is framed by a large window overlooking the garden meadow.

Plugin wall lights from Alain Fradin are installed on walls in Holland & Sherry Alona Rice paperbacked linen fabric by Holland & Sherry.
